Who we are and what these terms cover

Scribulate is operated by Get My Loot, LLC, based in Pennsylvania, United States. These terms cover our website and the current free desktop release distributed through the download links on this website. For questions, contact hi@rmail.scribulate.com.

Free personal and business use

Get My Loot, LLC gives you a non-exclusive license to install and use the current free Scribulate app for personal and business purposes, including making backup copies for your own use. No subscription, account, or API key is required for this release.

Scribulate is proprietary software. Get My Loot, LLC retains ownership of its software and branding. This permission does not transfer ownership or grant rights to sell Scribulate, distribute modified copies, or present it as your own product. Rights provided by applicable law and third-party licenses are unaffected.

Third-party software and models retain their own licenses and notices. Those licenses govern the corresponding components, including any rights they grant to use, modify, or redistribute them.

Your content and recordings

You retain your rights in your recordings, transcripts, and notes. These terms do not transfer ownership of that content to Get My Loot, LLC. You are responsible for the material you record, process, store, export, or share.

Tell participants about recordings and obtain the notices, permissions, and consent required where you and the participants are located. Respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property. Do not use Scribulate for unlawful recordings or to infringe someone else’s rights.

Review generated text

Speech recognition and generated text can contain errors, omissions, and incorrect names, dates, or conclusions. Review important output before relying on or sharing it. Me/Them labels distinguish audio sources; they do not establish a speaker’s identity.

Installation, backups, and availability

Check that your computer is compatible with the available release. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and maintaining backups of local files. Model setup and update downloads need an internet connection; processing performance varies with hardware and recording conditions.

This is an early release. We do not promise that the app or website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Website, downloads, and optional email

Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or abuse its email forms. Downloads and external links may be hosted by other providers whose terms also apply to those services.

Email updates are optional and can be skipped when downloading. Signing up does not create an app account or purchase a subscription. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time. Our privacy policy explains website, mailing-list, and support-message data handling.

Future features and paid plans

This website does not currently sell subscriptions, collect payments, or start paid trials. Descriptions of planned features are not a promise that they are available. Any future paid offer will explain its price, billing, renewal, cancellation, and applicable terms before you choose to purchase it. Downloading this free release does not authorize future charges.

Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, except where mandatory laws applicable to you require otherwise. They do not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
